Quantum Displace started with the idea of going back over existing student project and continuing it after school. It is now on Google Play, as a playable demo.
School Project : Relativity
Working with a small team of two other students : Alexandre Drouin and Nans Batailhou-Villet. I mainly worked on the environnement and navigation, on mobile. I also had to make my FXs easily pluggable for the main developper (and the smile on his face was my best reward each time !). A very good experience.
In Relativity, the original feature for a base defense style game was that we had to move enemies directly to repulse them: at the beginning, only other abilities dealt damage. We finally simplified that by designing this action in a way that gave players a better feel of power and control.
